Key Responsibilities

  • Complete thorough and evidence-informed Pre-Birth, Parenting, and Children & Family Assessments, ensuring all aspects of need and risk are addressed.

  • Work collaboratively with parents, children, and partner agencies to develop tailored and sustainable support plans.

  • Contribute to safeguarding and care planning processes, ensuring children's safety and well-being remain central to all decisions.

  • Undertake additional assessments as identified by the manager to support service delivery and team objectives.

  • Maintain accurate, timely case records in accordance with local and statutory requirements.

  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England.

  • Proven experience completing Pre-Birth, Parenting, and Family Assessments.

  • Strong understanding of the Children Act 1989 and relevant child protection frameworks.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
