Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the Children's Assessment Team in Barking & Dagenham. This ongoing locum role offers an excellent hourly rate of £37.52 per hour, with part-time or full-time options and flexible working hours.

Core hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, however the service offers flexibility around start and finish times. This could include patterns such as 8am-6pm over four days, 8am-4pm, 9am-6pm, and other variations to suit your lifestyle. Part-time working is also considered.

This is a front-line statutory role where you will work with children and families at the point of referral, completing high-quality assessments and taking decisive action to safeguard children.
