What you will do:

  • Undertake Child and Family Assessments within statutory timescales

  • Manage cases involving safeguarding and child protection concerns

  • Identify risk, analyse complex information, and make sound safeguarding decisions

  • Carry out statutory visits and direct work with children and families

  • Progress cases to CIN, Child Protection, or legal planning as required

  • Prepare clear, analytical, and high-quality reports and case records

  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes for children

Person specification:

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work

Registration and compliance:

  • Registered with Social Work England

  • Enhanced DBS

  • Right to work in the UK

Salary range

  • £38.36 per hour
