What You Will Do

  • Provide comprehensive social work services including assessment, care planning, intervention, and review.

  • Safeguard adults at risk of harm by identifying, assessing, and managing risk, making proportionate and defensible decisions.

  • Undertake preventative work to reduce the need for further services and minimise risks of harm, abuse, and neglect.

  • Apply relevant legislation and frameworks including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 in your practice.

  • Lead and contribute to safeguarding enquiries, ensuring a person-centred and rights-based approach.

  • Work collaboratively with health, housing, and other partner agencies to deliver holistic support.

  • Support and mentor junior staff and social work students, contributing to a positive learning culture.
