Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the Adults Social Care Team in Wolverhampton. This is a 3-month locum position offering full-time hours and a competitive hourly rate of £31.97. The role is ideally suited to a skilled and confident practitioner with experience in No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) cases and a strong background in adult social care.
You will be working in a hybrid/agile environment, supporting vulnerable adults across the city. Local candidates are preferred due to the community-based nature of the role. An immediate start is available.

What You Will Do

Assess and support adults in the community who have No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF).

Work with adults facing complex challenges including mental health needs, substance misuse, and homelessness.

Complete strengths-based assessments and develop personalised care and support plans.

Manage a complex caseload and deliver timely, outcome-focused interventions.

Undertake safeguarding enquiries and crisis interventions when required.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies and internal teams to deliver coordinated support.

Maintain accurate, high-quality case records using digital case management
