Social Worker - Adults Duty Team in Merton, UK - £32 per hour Hourly

We are offering an ongoing contract with a competitive rate of £32 per hour for a Full-time role. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for helping others and at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience within Adults Social Care. Our team is seeking someone immediately available to work three days in the office as part of the Duty triage within the Safeguarding team. Experience with carrying out Safeguarding enquiries is essential.

What you will do:
- Provide comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs in a timely manner
- Manage cases effectively and review ongoing care and support plans
- Conduct Safeguarding enquiries and collaborate with the Safeguarding team
- Work in partnership with service users, carers, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with policy and procedures
- Participate in duty rotas within the team, ensuring cover and continuity of service

Requirements for the Social Worker:
- Registered with Social Work England
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work or Social Care
- UK-qualified experience working as a Social Worker is essential
