What you will do:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the safeguarding team.
- Implement and uphold safeguarding policies, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Support and develop team members, conducting supervision and appraisals.
- Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services.
- Analyse and utilise data to plan and improve service delivery.
- Ensure cases are handled efficiently, meeting statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in social work with a solid foundation in the principles and practice of safeguarding.
- Hold a current Social Work England registration to practice as a qualified social worker.
- Demonstrate significant frontline experience in children's services as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, Assistant Team Manager, or similar roles.
- Proven track record of effective team management and leadership in a social services environment.
