What you will do:

- Support the team manager in overseeing the statutory specialist social work service for children with disabilities and their families.
- Manage the specialist social work duty service, determining referral eligibility and ensuring proper case management and statutory assessments are timely.
- Promote equitable community access for disabled children and their families while ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with Joint Service Managers and other children’s and adults services teams to ensure a cohesive approach to service delivery.
- Deliver assessments and services reflecting family diversity and aligning with the council's policies and performance standards.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the specialist social work service, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to team members to enhance service quality.
