What you will do
- Case Management: Manage a complex caseload of safeguarding and child protection cases, ensuring each child receives appropriate protection and support.
- Statutory Assessments: Undertake statutory assessments, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, maintaining a strong focus on quality and timeliness.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement robust child protection and care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Multi-Agency Working: Lead and contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, and other multi-agency forums.
- Mentoring: Provide mentoring and informal supervision to less experienced social workers, sharing professional expertise.
- Recording & Compliance: Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality recording in line with statutory requirements.
- Partnership Working: Collaborate with partner agencies including health, education, and police services.
