Role overview:
As a Senior Social Worker within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Team, you will play a critical role in screening referrals, making timely safeguarding decisions, and supporting high-quality practice across partner agencies. You will provide professional leadership, ensure statutory compliance, and contribute to safeguarding children and young people through effective multi-agency working.

What you will do:

  • Screen and make informed decisions on incoming safeguarding referrals promptly and accurately

  • Undertake robust assessments and risk analysis to determine appropriate interventions

  • Provide professional leadership and guidance to social workers, promoting high standards of practice

  • Work collaboratively with police, health, education, and other partner agencies

  • Apply relevant legislation and statutory frameworks to safeguard children effectively
