Role overview:
As a Senior Social Worker within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Team, you will play a critical role in screening referrals, making timely safeguarding decisions, and supporting high-quality practice across partner agencies. You will provide professional leadership, ensure statutory compliance, and contribute to safeguarding children and young people through effective multi-agency working.
What you will do:

Screen and make informed decisions on incoming safeguarding referrals promptly and accurately

Undertake robust assessments and risk analysis to determine appropriate interventions

Provide professional leadership and guidance to social workers, promoting high standards of practice

Work collaboratively with police, health, education, and other partner agencies

Apply relevant legislation and statutory frameworks to safeguard children effectively
