An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Mental Health Team within Children's Services in Ealing. Based at Perceval House, you'll be working within the Centralised Mental Health Social Work Team on a full-time locum basis for an initial 3-month period (with potential extension). This role offers the chance to make a real impact in the lives of children and families experiencing mental health challenges-all while earning an impressive £40.00 hourly rate.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide high-quality support, supervision, and guidance to ASCAs within the Centralised Mental Health Social Work Team.

  • Manage and oversee a duty system, ensuring timely responses to children and families presenting with mental health needs.

  • Use your extensive statutory knowledge and experience to support mental health residents and advise social work colleagues.

  • Hold and manage a defined caseload of children and families, delivering tailored assessments, interventions, and support plans.

  • Work effectively with clinical partners and health systems, supported by strong IT skills-ideally including experience with the MOSAIC case management system.

  • Collaborate in multi-agency settings, contributing to robust assessments and improved outcomes for vulnerable families.
