What You Will Do

• Conduct high-quality assessments to identify the needs, risks, and strengths of children and their families.

• Develop Family Plans using restorative, strengths-based, and relationship-focused practices.

• Deliver targeted early help interventions aimed at preventing escalation to Child Protection or Care proceedings.

• Provide intensive support, including home visits, direct work with children, and ongoing family engagement.

• Identify and respond swiftly to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and welfare of children at all times.

• Manage a complex caseload, ensuring robust planning, risk management, and accurate documentation.

• Offer mentoring, guidance, and practice support to Social Workers and Family Practitioners within the team.

• Work in close partnership with multi-agency professionals to ensure coordinated and effective support.

• Maintain high professional standards and engage actively in supervision and continuous learning.
