What you will do

  • Assessment & Safeguarding: Conduct assessments, risk analyses, and child protection enquiries to promote safety and wellbeing.
  • Care Planning: Develop and review tailored care plans to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Legal Processes: Lead on child protection, children in need, and court proceedings where required.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and carers, ensuring their voices are central.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and informal supervision to less experienced staff, supporting their development.
