Role Responsibilities

Social Work Assessments & Interventions

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and risks for children and families, ensuring interventions are person-centred and effective.

  • Provide short-term interventions and refer clients to appropriate services for longer-term support.

  • Undertake comprehensive risk assessments as part of safeguarding procedures to protect children from harm and neglect.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate case records in line with statutory requirements and Council standards.

  • Manage complex caseloads, ensuring timely responses to referrals and appropriate follow-ups.

Supervision & Mentorship

  • Guide and supervise junior social workers and assistants, providing feedback and support to help them grow professionally.

Salary range

  • £35 per hour
