Role Responsibilities
Social Work Assessments & Interventions

Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and risks for children and families, ensuring interventions are person-centred and effective.

Provide short-term interventions and refer clients to appropriate services for longer-term support.

Undertake comprehensive risk assessments as part of safeguarding procedures to protect children from harm and neglect.

Maintain detailed and accurate case records in line with statutory requirements and Council standards.

Manage complex caseloads, ensuring timely responses to referrals and appropriate follow-ups.
Supervision & Mentorship

Guide and supervise junior social workers and assistants, providing feedback and support to help them grow professionally.
