What you will do:

- Provide leadership and professional knowledge to colleagues, fostering a culture of innovation and reflective practice.
- Work collaboratively with vulnerable adults, assessing their needs using a strengths-based and enabling model to support independence.
- Develop and implement support plans to help individuals and their carers achieve optimal levels of independence and community integration.
- Take on leadership roles, deputise for the Assistant Team Manager or Team Manager, and oversee safeguarding inquiries when required.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, guiding them toward making informed decisions and resolving complex issues.
- Communicate and apply knowledge of key legislation such as the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act to support and guide practice.
- Champion social justice, inclusion, and equality, ensuring access to advocacy and anti-discriminatory practices.
- Engage in a continuous professional development cycle through reflective practice and proactive supervision.
- Manage a varied and complex caseload, making informed decisions regarding risk and safeguarding.
