What you will do:

  • Provide leadership and professional guidance to social workers within the team.
  • Promote and embed high-quality social work practice standards throughout the team.
  • Undertake the role of Duty Senior where required, acting as a point of escalation for complex cases.
  • Act as a Safeguarding Adults Manager, ensuring the safety and protection of vulnerable clients.
  • Provide supervision and oversight of complex cases, supporting team members with challenging scenarios.
  • Support risk management and complex decision-making in line with relevant legislation.
  • Ensure practice aligns with statutory frameworks and best practice quality standards, maintaining the highest levels of care.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Enhanced DBS suitable for working with vulnerable adults.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act (MCA), and Court of Protection.
  • Significant post-qualifying experience, ideally at Senior P
