What you will do:
- Supervise and guide the Adult Services team to achieve business objectives for your designated team.
- Conduct effective appraisals and supervision to continuously improve council services.
- Ensure compliance with national and local Safeguarding Adults policies and legislation.
- Support team members in maintaining high professional standards.
- Promote a strengths-based model of self-directed support to empower service users and carers.
- Supervise selected staff, manage work allocation, and oversee performance.
- Be financially astute, ensuring projects remain within budget while maximising independence for service users.
- Develop high standards of service delivery in collaboration with your Team Manager.
- Collaborate using a multi-disciplinary approach in line with integration plans across Hackney.
- Assist the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker in balancing development and practice work priorities.
- Contribute actively to the development of Quality Assurance Frameworks and collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team.
