What you will do

• Lead planning and monitoring activities to meet business objectives within Adult Services.
• Conduct staff appraisals and supervision to drive continuous service improvement across the Council.
• Ensure adherence to local and national Safeguarding Adults legislation and policy.
• Support and challenge practitioners to uphold and enhance high professional standards.
• Promote a strengths‑based, self‑directed support model for service users and carers.
• Supervise designated staff members, manage work allocation, and review performance outcomes.
• Maintain accountability for financial impacts, ensuring budget awareness and independence‑focused solutions.
• Develop and uphold high standards of practice, remaining accountable for service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary partners to support integrated health and care objectives in Hackney.
• Partner with the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker to set priorities and balance development with frontline practice.
• Contribute to the Quality Assurance Framework, including safeguarding work with key stakeholders.
