Role Purpose

The Qualified Social Worker will deliver high-quality social care, completing assessments and reviews under the Care Act (2014). You will manage complex cases, coordinate multi-agency support, and ensure adults' needs are met in a person-centred, strengths-based manner. This role combines direct work, safeguarding responsibilities, and professional collaboration to achieve positive outcomes for service users and their carers.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct face-to-face and telephone assessments and reviews in line with the Care Act (2014).

  • Maintain timely, accurate records to support case management and statutory reporting.

  • Build effective partnerships with Health, Police, Housing, and other relevant agencies to deliver holistic support.

  • Support carers through signposting and advice to promote independence and wellbeing.

  • Provide Duty cover, triaging and responding to incoming cases efficiently.

  • Manage a complex caseload, ensuring statutory duties are met while promoting person-centred outcomes.

  • Lead on Section 42 Safeguarding investigations, chair multi-agency meetings such as MARM, and complete Mental Capacity Act (2005) assessments including Best Interest meetings, COP-DOLs, and court work.
