What You Will Do:

• Screen safeguarding referrals and make timely decisions in line with the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.

• Undertake rapid response face-to-face visits to assess risk and need where adults may be experiencing abuse or neglect.

• Triage incoming adult social care referrals and direct them to the most appropriate service or team.

• Review DASH and Vulnerable Adult referrals with South Yorkshire Police and determine appropriate safeguarding actions.

• Complete high-quality assessments with adults, families, and carers, working in partnership with multi-agency professionals.

• Apply relevant legislation, case law, and policy guidance, promoting equal opportunities and anti-oppressive practice.
