What you will do:

• Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014

• Identify, assess, and manage risks of abuse or neglect, including physical, emotional, financial, and sexual abuse

• Develop and implement person-centred safeguarding plans

• Complete Care Act assessments and formulate effective risk management strategies

• Carry out Mental Capacity Assessments and make Best Interest decisions

• Work collaboratively with health services, police, housing, care providers, and voluntary organisations

• Contribute to legal processes and prepare reports for court and safeguarding proceedings

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case records in line with statutory requirements

• Engage in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development activities
