What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 10-11 children from 4-5 families involved in care proceedings.

• Undertake statutory visits, care planning, reviews, and safeguarding interventions in accordance with legislation and local procedures.

• Prepare high-quality assessments, court reports, statements, and care plans to support informed decision-making.

• Represent Children's Services in court proceedings and contribute to legal planning processes.

• Work directly with children and families to assess needs, risks, strengths, and long-term outcomes.

• Evaluate current risks and protective factors, considering the likelihood of sustainable change within the child's timescale.

• Apply the Department of Health Assessment Framework and utilise the NSPCC Reunification Framework where appropriate.
