Kiddie Capers Childcare Hailsham is a brand-new nursery designed to be a bright, welcoming space where children and staff can thrive. With places for up to 80 children aged 0–5 years, the nursery features dedicated age-specific rooms, a cosy sleep room, a sensory room, and secure outdoor spaces, including a baby garden, a forest school area, and an older children’s play area. Every detail is carefully designed to create a nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence.

Join our friendly nursery team as a Nursery Support Assistant, helping to create a safe, clean and nurturing environment for children. You'll support with preparing and serving meals and snacks, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, completing housekeeping and laundry duties, undertaking health and safety checks and assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. We're looking for someone who is reliable, caring and enjoys working as part of a team to support children's wellbeing and development.

Hours & Salary:
  • 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
  • £8.00-£12.71 per hour (depending on age)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An interest or passion for childcare/early years development
  • A clean and organised approach
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Salary range

  • GPB 8 - GPB 12.71 per hour
