What You Will Do

  • Undertake statutory social work assessments, ensuring children are safeguarded and outcomes are improved.

  • Manage a caseload of complex and high-risk cases, making sound and defensible professional judgements.

  • Complete Child and Family Assessments, Section 17 assessments, and Section 47 enquiries.

  • Carry out direct work with children and families to identify risk, analyse need, and develop safety and support plans.

  • Prepare high-quality reports for meetings, legal planning, and court when required.

  • Work effectively with multi-agency partners, ensuring children's voices are central to assessments and planning.

Salary range

  • £38 per hour
