What you will do

  • Practice Leadership: Provide expert consultation, guidance, and oversight to social work teams, promoting high standards of practice.

  • Case Management: Manage a complex caseload, delivering effective interventions for children with significant needs.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure robust safeguarding practice in line with statutory requirements and best practice standards.
  • Supervision & Mentoring: Support, supervise, and coach social workers, students, and Personal Advisors.
  • Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver coordinated and effective interventions.
  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives across the council.
