Join us as a Children Social Worker within our Family Safeguarding Team in Cambridge, where you'll earn up to £40.52 per hour in a full-time, ongoing position. What You Will Do

  • Conduct statutory visits for Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care (CIC).

  • Chair CIN and Core Group Meetings, ensuring clear communication and planning.

  • Manage caseloads including CIN, CP, and CIC cases, including some in Pre-Proceedings (PLO) and S31 Care Proceedings.

  • Prepare and complete Court Reports, Risk Assessments, and Parenting Assessments.

  • Attend court hearings with the support of Senior Practitioners or Team Managers.

  • Participate in the Duty Rota to ensure consistent service delivery.

  • Attend and prepare reports for Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPC) and Review Child Protection Conferences (RCPC).

  • Assess and manage risk effectively, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children.
