What You Will Do

  • Complete assessments and interventions in line with Wales Safeguarding Procedures and the Signs of Safety framework.

  • Develop child-centred care and support plans in collaboration with children, young people, and families.

  • Work across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases as required.

  • Lead and contribute to multi-agency meetings, including Child Protection Conferences, Core Groups, and LAC Reviews.

  • Undertake Section 47 enquiries, assessing and responding to safeguarding risks.

  • Manage a varied caseload, ensuring timely and accurate recording within WCCIS.

  • Use trauma-informed approaches to build strong, trusted relationships with families.

  • Partner with education, health, police, and youth services to deliver coordinated interventions.

Salary range
