Role overview
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Adults Social Worker to join the Care Act Assessment Team in Nottingham. This six-month locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £33.00 and full-time hours, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred assessments that promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
You'll play a vital role in supporting adults with a wide range of needs, working in line with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding legislation while contributing to effective, strengths-based support planning across the city.

What you will do

Complete Care Act 2014-compliant assessments, reviews, and reassessments for adults with care and support needs.

Apply the Wellbeing Principle and strengths-based approaches to promote independence and positive outcomes.

Develop support plans and personal budgets in partnership with individuals, carers, and providers.

Undertake Mental Capacity Act assessments and make best-interest decisions where required.

Identify, assess, and support carers in line with statutory carers' assessment duties.

Manage safeguarding concerns and contribute to multi-agency safeguarding enquiries.
