Salary: £28 per hour
Contract: Locum, Full-Time, 3 Months

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as an Adult Social Worker (Qualified) with Darlington Borough Council. This position offers a pay rate of £28 per hour for a 37-hour work week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00) on an initial 3-month contract, likely to be reviewed or extended. What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult service users and develop personalised care plans.

  • Manage a varied caseload, ensuring that all interventions are thoroughly documented and updated.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care that promotes well-being and community integration.

  • Ensure safeguarding practices are followed and contribute actively to risk assessment and management.

  • Provide advice and support to service users and their families, promoting empowerment and independence.
