Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive Care Act assessments to ensure individuals receive tailored and appropriate support.

  • Undertake safeguarding investigations to protect vulnerable adults from harm and abuse.

  • Provide duty support and respond effectively to urgent or complex situations.

  • Manage Court of Protection matters, including S21A challenges, with professionalism and legal awareness.

  • Review and amend care packages to ensure outcomes are being met effectively.

  • Work collaboratively within the East Team, contributing to the 3C's process to deliver high-quality services.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.

  • Experience within Adults Social Care.

  • Strong working knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding procedures, and Court of Protection processes.

  • Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload independently.
