Adults Social Worker – Adult Learning Disability Team in Hulme, Manchester earning £30 per hour. This temporary agency assignment offers an exciting chance to work with Manchester City Council for an initial duration of 3 months, with a possibility of extension. You'll be working full-time from Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 4:30pm, supporting adults with learning disabilities within a bustling multidisciplinary team. This role is based at the Hulme District Office, Ground Floor, 323 Stretford Road, Hulme, Manchester, M15 4UW, starting from 18 May 2026 to 31 August 2026.

What you will do:
- Effectively manage a busy caseload to provide top-notch support to adults with learning disabilities.
- Complete statutory assessments and reviews, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Independently progress cases and develop proactive solutions for clients.
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues, contributing to a robust team environment.
- Operate confidently within a multidisciplinary setting, promoting collaborative care.

Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified experience in Adult Social Care.
- Previous experience within a Learning Disability Team, adding value with specialist knowledge.
- Strong grasp of legislation such as the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Enhanced DBS check and references covering the last 3 years, ensuring comprehensive background verification.
