Joining the Richmond and Wandsworth Adult Social Services, you will work alongside Service Managers, Assistant Service Managers, Senior Social Workers, and Social Care Assessors to deliver a holistic and personalised service to residents over the age of 18.

What you will do:

• Facilitate service user choice by promoting independence and strength-based practice to enable residents to maintain their independence and community connections safely.
• Assist with budget management, ensuring timely and effective completion of processes like authorising assessments and arranging necessary funding for individual support plans.
• Undertake statutory interventions for service users at risk, including safeguarding adults and chairing Section 42 Safeguarding Adults Enquiries as needed.
• Provide operational and motivational leadership, promoting a positive work environment with a focus on delivering high-quality services.
• Offer regular, formal professional supervision to practitioners, adhering to Council Policies, Procedures, and Professional Standards.
• Manage the duty team, overseeing all incoming referrals and safeguarding concerns.
