What you will do

• Legal Advice: Provide expert legal advice and representation in adult social care matters, including safeguarding concerns and statutory duties.
• Case Management: Manage a diverse and complex caseload involving the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
• Court Representation: Represent the council in the Court of Protection and other significant legal proceedings.
• Drafting: Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including applications, reports, and agreements.
• Professional Guidance: Advise social workers and senior officers on complex legal matters and risk assessments.
