Derbyshire Youth Justice Service works with young people aged 10-17 on both court orders and out of court disposals. We had an HMIP inspection in June 2022 with an outcome of good and are continuing to further develop our service offer to children at risk of offending. Our Residential Childrens Workers provide a service to Children in accordance with legislative and policy requirements. Working as part of a small staff team who provide support and a person-centred service, they are responsible for the daily support, guidance, educational and social needs of our children.
