Reporting to the Head of Adult Safeguarding, as one of three Safeguarding Practitioners you will;

- undertake statutory functions related to adult safeguarding including attending a weekly Multi-agency Safeguarding Referral Decision Hub, undertaking Duty to Inquire visits and undertaking formal safeguarding investigations.

Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS or UK Local Authority service for annual leave and sick leave.

Person requirements: 
 - Registered Nurse, Social Worker or Allied Health Professional with full UK professional registration, as applicable.

- Current or recent senior Band 6 UK experience in a&nbsp; Safeguarding role 
- The ability to advocate for vulnerable adults and ensure that they have a meaningful voice, are listened to, and are involved in planning services and have individual packages of care.&nbsp; 
 - Previous experience of chairing meetings.&nbsp; 
- Previous experience in leading safeguarding adult / Adult Protection Investigations&nbsp;

Band 4 Autism Outreach Support Worker

We are seeking a committed and experienced Social Worker to join the Child Protection/ Safeguarding Team on the beautiful <a href="https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Guernsey/@49.685696,-2.5716328,9z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x480d72322e9176df:0xd10063639ec06acb" target="_blank">Island of Guernsey</a>, in the Channel Islands. The Team comprises seven qualified Social Workers, with support from a Deputy and Team Manager, Social Work Assistants, support staff and students. The salary for this post is £53,271 up to £66,950. You will assist in the provision and further development of an effective service for children and families across the island by working closely with other agencies, professionals and members of the public. This will include undertaking child protection investigations and early help assessments, working with children in need, children in need of protection and children subject of Care Requirements in accordance with the Children (Guernsey and Alderney) Law 2008.&nbsp; The Law has introduced fundamental and significant changes to how concerns relating to children and young people are dealt with and is based broadly on the Children’s Hearing System in Scotland.The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000.
