What you will do:

Manage a caseload of children and young people in the care of Newham Council, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and developmental needs are met.
Conduct statutory visits, assessments, and reviews in accordance with legislation, regulations, and local authority procedures.
Develop, implement, and review comprehensive care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Promote permanence planning, including reunification, long-term fostering, kinship care, special guardianship, and adoption.
Ensure the wishes, feelings, and views of children and young people are central to assessment, planning, and decision-making processes.
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records using the council's case management systems.
Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate safeguarding action to protect children and young people.
Participate in strategy discussions, placement stability meetings, safeguarding meetings, and other multi-agency forums.
Prepare high-quality reports for Looked After Children Reviews
