What you will do:

• Implement and enhance adult safeguarding procedures across Shropshire, ensuring robust and effective safeguarding practices.
• Support the effective operation of the Adult Safeguarding Team and contribute to achieving key service objectives.
• Manage conflict confidently and maintain a professional approach in challenging situations.
• Deputise for the Team Manager on adult safeguarding matters when required.
• Respond promptly to safeguarding enquiries and concerns involving adults at risk, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Manage a complex caseload, supporting adults to live as independently and safely as possible.
• Provide guidance, support, and performance management to Safeguarding Practitioners.
• Develop and maintain effective partnerships with service providers and multi-agency professionals to improve outcomes for adults.
