The role requires a detailed understanding of relevant legal frameworks and processes, including the Mental Health Act (1983), safeguarding, and risk management, as well as the willingness and ability to work in physically and emotionally demanding situations. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team while also leading and positively influencing others, supported by excellent record-keeping, report-writing, and written communication skills. Experience in delivering PBS training and a demonstrated history of reducing the use of restrictive practices are essential.
