Job Description

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Up to £29,900 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week

Looking for a nursery where children are encouraged to learn naturally, explore freely, and thrive in a calm, inspiring environment?

Our client is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their Good Ofsted-rated, purpose-built nursery. Carefully designed with children's wellbeing and development in mind, the nursery features bright learning environments that create a calm and welcoming atmosphere where children feel confident to learn, play, and grow.

A key part of the nursery's ethos is its all-day free-flow approach, allowing children to move seamlessly between the indoor learning spaces and secure outdoor areas. This encourages independence, curiosity, and meaningful learning experiences, while giving every child the freedom to learn in the way that suits them best.

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach to childcare

What's On Offer

  • Benefit from discounted childcare, supporting your own family needs
  • Gain peace of mind with life assurance cover
  • Grow your career with ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Secure your future with a pension scheme
  • Access health and wellbeing support to help you feel your best
  • Take advantage of a benefits and rewards portal with exclusive perks
  • Enjoy a competitive annual leave package to support work-life balance
  • Celebrate the festive season with a Christmas closure
  • Unlock excellent career progression opportunities within a growing organisation

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and participate in engaging, play-based learning experiences
  • Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development
  • Encourage children's independence through the nursery's all-day free-flow approach
  • Make full use of the bright indoor environments and secure outdoor learning spaces
  • Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
