The nursery is committed to making learning fun, engaging, and confidence-building, helping children develop essential skills through exciting, play-based experiences. Outdoor learning is a key part of everyday life, with a large, well-resourced garden featuring a wide variety of equipment that encourages exploration, creativity, and imaginative play.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A warm, caring, and child-centred approach to childcare

What's On Offer

  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Benefits and rewards portal
  • Competitive annual leave
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Opportunity to work in a Good Ofsted-rated nursery
  • Excellent career progression opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and participate in engaging, play-based learning experiences
  • Encourage children's confidence, independence, and curiosity through everyday activities
  • Make full use of the nursery's extensive outdoor learning environment to support physical development and exploration
  • Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
