Job Description

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Up to £29,900 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week

Outstanding Ofsted Rating

Imagine working in a nursery where every day is filled with discovery, creativity, and the opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life.

Our client is looking for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive team within a setting that has been thoughtfully designed to inspire children to learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences.

The nursery's light-filled, open-plan rooms create calm and engaging learning environments, while free-flow access between the indoor and outdoor spaces encourages children to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Every area has been carefully designed to support children's development, allowing practitioners to deliver exciting activities both inside and outdoors throughout the day.

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A warm, caring, and child-centred approach to childcare

What's On Offer

  • Benefit from discounted childcare
  • Gain peace of mind with life assurance cover
  • Grow your career with ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Secure your future with a pension scheme
  • Access health and wellbeing support to help you feel your best
  • Take advantage of a benefits and rewards portal with exclusive perks
  • Enjoy a competitive annual leave package
  • Benefit from a Christmas closure
  • Join an Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery
  • Excellent opportunities for career progression

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and participate in engaging learning experiences that support children's development
  • Encourage children's independence through the nursery's free-flow learning environment
  • Make full use of both the indoor and outdoor spaces to create exciting, play-based learning opportunities
  • Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
