Nursery Practitioner
Up to £21,600 per annum | 30 Hours Per Week | Level 3 Early Years Qualification Required
We are looking for a motivated and caring Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our client’s Good Ofsted-rated, purpose-built setting. With a strong focus on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the nursery offers a genuine home-from-home environment where children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to develop at their own pace.
The setting takes inspiration from the natural world, with bright, spacious rooms designed to spark imagination and support child-led learning. Outside, children benefit from a large, all-weather garden that allows for year-round outdoor play, as well as a vegetable patch where they can get hands-on with planting, growing, and learning about the environment in a fun and engaging way.
What We're Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A warm, caring, and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
- Plan and participate in engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development
- Make full use of the nursery's indoor learning environments and outdoor spaces, including the vegetable patch
- Encourage children's confidence, curiosity, and independence through exploration and discovery
- Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
