Full time

We’re supporting a wonderful private nursery that’s dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care.

As a Senior Practitioner, you’ll work closely with your Room Lead and the Nursery Manager to help oversee the daily running of your room. You’ll plan engaging, child-led activities, support the team with clear direction and encouragement, and ensure every child’s needs are met in a safe, happy and stimulating environment.

You’ll be a role model for best practice—balancing care, creativity, and professionalism—and helping to mentor junior colleagues as part of a strong and passionate early years team.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)

  • At least 3 years’ experience post-qualification

  • Confident in supporting and motivating a small team

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS requirements

  • Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates (or willingness to obtain)

  • Benefits

  • Supportive management team with real career development opportunities

  • Regular training and upskilling

  • Collaborative and inclusive team environment

  • Lovely nursery environment with well-resourced rooms

  • Competitive salary, staff perks and wellbeing support
