Outdoor learning is an important part of daily life at the nursery. Children enjoy free-flow access to the garden, allowing them to explore and learn both indoors and outdoors throughout the day. The outdoor environment features a woodland area for adventurous play and nature discovery, a large sandpit and planting beds where children can grow vegetables.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
- Plan and support engaging activities based on children's interests and developmental needs
- Encourage children's confidence, independence, and curiosity
- Make full use of the nursery's outdoor learning environments, including the woodland area and growing garden
- Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress and development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
- Support children's emotional, social, and educational development
