Description

Join our team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries as an Early Years Nursery Professional. We are a well-established and reputable nursery, dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children.

Aside from the usual paperwork, knowledge of legislation and the EYFS, confidence, ability to be a great team player etc you MUST also have the following:

· Imagination is key, if a child requests you to be a captain of a pirate ship you will be the best captain you can be!

· Have a brilliant memory remembering all the names of lots of tiny people, their pets, toys and what they had for dinner last night

· Processing skills to be rapid and to be able count the heads of numerous small moving children is essential

· You must know the magic recipe to fix all ailments

· The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to learn the children's favourite songs is!

· To be able to 'eat' at least 30 mud pies a day with wiggly worms in

· Be able to laugh at jokes you do not understand or find funny!

And finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families, there is simply no other job quite like this one!



Requirements
  • A full and relevant level 3 or above qualification as defined by the Department of Education on the Early Years Qualifications List.
  • DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements
  • Experience in the sector
