Are you an experienced Nursery Manager looking to lead a thriving early years setting where children, families, and staff are at the heart of everything?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Good Ofsted-rated nursery that provides exceptional childcare and education for children from birth to five years old. The service is seeking a confident and passionate leader with previous Nursery Manager experience who can inspire a dedicated team while maintaining the high standards the nursery is known for.
Set within a spacious, modern environment, the nursery has been thoughtfully designed to support every stage of a child's development. Separate rooms for each age group provide age-appropriate learning experiences, while the large outdoor garden encourages children to explore, play, and develop their confidence in the natural environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager is essential.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
- Experience managing the operational and commercial aspects of a busy nursery.
- A passion for delivering exceptional childcare and supporting children to reach their full potential.

Nursery Manager Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring exceptional standards of care and education.
- Inspire, motivate, and develop a team of Early Years professionals to deliver outstanding practice.
- Maintain compliance with the EYFS framework, safeguarding legislation, and Ofsted requirements.
- Create a positive, supportive culture where children, families, and staff feel valued.
- Oversee recruitment, inductions, supervisions, and ongoing staff development.
- Monitor occupancy, budgets, and operational performance to ensure the continued success of the nursery.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement and prepare the nursery for future Ofsted inspections.
