What you will do:

Manage a caseload of children and families, undertaking statutory assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with legislative requirements.
Complete child and family assessments, identifying risks, needs, and protective factors to inform interventions and support planning.
Undertake Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, contributing to child protection investigations and conferences.
Develop and implement outcome-focused care and support plans, ensuring child-centred and strengths-based practice.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies including schools, health professionals, police, and third-sector organisations within a multi-agency framework.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)
Completion of Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) is desirable

Registration & Compliance:

Registered with Social Work England
Enhanced DBS clearance
Sound knowledge of Children Act 1989/2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children
