We are excited to present an outstanding opportunity for a Recovery Worker specialising in Substance Misuse in the lively area of Walthamstow, London. This role offers a competitive rate of £22 per hour on an umbrella basis. You will be working full-time, five days a week for a total of 37.5 hours, initially on a 3-Month Contract with the potential for extension.

What you will do:
- Engage with individuals struggling with substance misuse, offering support and guidance for their recovery journey
- Develop and maintain individualised care plans tailored to the specific needs of clients
- Carry out risk assessments and manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining accurate records
- Implement harm reduction strategies and deliver recovery-focused interventions
- Collaborate with social services, healthcare providers, and local community resources to deliver a holistic, integrated care service

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you must have a DBS check on the update service, proven experience in dealing with substance misuse involving drugs and alcohol, robust caseload management and keyworking skills, and a good understanding of harm reduction and recovery models.
