Deputy Nursery Manager – £32,000
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and senior early years professional to join them as a Deputy Nursery Manager. You will be a senior presence on the floor, helping to maintain high standards of care and education, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements. The nursery provides a warm and welcoming environment where children engage in activities that support their development through exploration and play, helping to build their confidence.

What You’ll Need
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Proven experience in a senior nursery role (Deputy Manager, Third In Charge, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- Confident leadership and coaching skills
- Strong organisational and communication abilities
Desirable
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Experience supporting Ofsted preparation or quality improvement
What You’ll Do
- Support the Nursery Manager in running the nursery daily
- Lead and coach staff to maintain consistent practice and standards
- Monitor safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance requirements
- Oversee room routines, staffing, and resource allocation
- Build and maintain relationships with families and external stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance processes
