Job Description

Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified)

£27,000–£33,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week

What if your workplace was surrounded by woodland, filled with natural light, and designed to inspire curiosity at every turn?

This Good Ofsted-rated nursery is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its friendly team. Set within beautiful surroundings, the nursery has been thoughtfully designed to support children at every stage of their development, with spacious, age-appropriate environments.

Inside, you'll find bright, cosy rooms that provide children with the perfect balance of comfort and inspiration. Outside, the adventure continues with a fantastic garden featuring free-flow access, a dedicated mud room, and a wide variety of resources and play areas that encourage children to explore.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll help create meaningful learning opportunities every day, supporting children as they grow in confidence and develop new skills.

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working within an early years setting.
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and positive approach to early years education.

What You'll Receive

  • Pension scheme
  • Bonus scheme
  • Employee incentives
  • Heavily discounted childcare
  • Competitive annual leave
  • Wellbeing programme
  • Long service rewards
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Opportunity to work within a beautiful Good Ofsted-rated nursery surrounded by nature

Your Role

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Plan engaging, play-based activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Encourage children's confidence, independence, and curiosity through both indoor and outdoor experiences.
  • Make full use of the nursery's beautiful woodland surroundings, free-flow garden, mud room, and outdoor resources to create exciting learning opportunities.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress, supporting their individual learning journeys.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels happy, secure, and supported.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
